The iPad will help students who do not have access at home to connect and dive deep into the atrocity of the Tulsa Race Riots. Our textbooks do not do justice to the history of the Race Riots. These students need to understand better that Oklahoma had one of the worst riots happen here, in Good ole Oklahoma. With the iPad, we can explore new research that has come out in recent weeks and months. I can connect to each student thru the use of the iPad to their Chromebooks the school has checked out to each student. Plus in this technology-literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
