Students coming together on the carpet is a daily occurrence. For our mini lessons, the students come ready to learn to the carpet. Having a carpet that is big enough to fit all my students would make them engaged, safe, and comfortable. I am also eager to try morning meeting this upcoming school year and would like a carpet that is big enough for each of my students to sit on to be able to build a classroom community. The carpet would also serve as a flexible seating option for students and a place to independently read.
