Our 6th-grade students begged us to read more outside of our classes, so we created a Book Club! This optional book club is providing an opportunity for our 100% online students to socialize and talk about their favorite subject: books! We want to provide our students with physical books to read for Book Club! We will personally deliver these books to each student, and they will get to keep them forever, which will delight them to no end! Our 12 students come from all walks of life, and they bring their special and varied perspectives to the books we are reading. They exchange ideas, viewpoints, and thoughts in a lively environment. The two books we are requesting funding for will round out our school year, and they have been chosen based upon their diverse characters and important perspectives within history and current events. But we need your help! We have zero funding to provide physical books for our students, and we have exhausted all other funding options. Can you help us to put books into the hands of students who cannot physically be in school for personal or medical reasons? These students are passionate about reading, and we want to help them learn and interact with their peers over a good book!
