Virtual learning is still new for all of us. Mr. P., Mr. B, and I have been looking for ways to make the virtual band class experience as effective and enjoyable as the in-person experience. All of our students know that our teaching does not just take place from the front of the classroom. We are constantly moving around the students, listening to each section of the band and working with individuals as the whole ensemble plays. This movement has presented quite a few issues while trying to film the classroom activities for the virtual students. Swivl will help! This technology identifies the teacher and enables the camera to follow the teacher's movements while also maintaining good microphone quality. Virtual students will now be able to hear and see us as we work with the band in each class. Please help us bring this technology to the band hall! We want all of our students to have the best experience they can this year in band!
