My students are so excited and engaged during a read aloud. However, since distance learning, the vibrant picture and ability to engage all students has been a struggle. I see interaction, engagement and excitement when visual aides are used during reading instruction! I find that using visual aides during distance learning has really enhanced instruction. These visual aides will help my students comprehend a story and have fun while doing it. As I always tell them, the story/song/rhyme will get "stuck in your brain" and you will remember it because we grow smarter every activity we do. Creative storytelling will help get comprehension "stuck in their brain".
