Students will use and have this creativity supplies to provide them with opportunities to ground themselves while expressing their feelings. The supplies will be used independently or during planned guided activities on our Mindfulness sessions with my co-teacher and I. From creating Mindfulness rocks with paint, shaping paper, painting mandalas, coloring, free painting, free drawing to making "papel picado" working with intention in a specific emotion explored in our lesson. This is a project that advocates for the creating of spaces with the purpose (especially in virtual times) that allow students to explore their feelings and learn about themselves to be able to focus on their academic learning.
