The leveled readers will be used in small group instruction to help fill in the gap students have with sight words and fluency. I want to provide my students with books that can help build their skills in reading sight words and provide them with fluency skill building as well. With the increased use of technology, I want to provide my students with paper books. It is important to give students the opportunity to put down the technology and pick up a book to just read. These readers will help me build my student's confidence in themselves as readers so they can see the joy of reading.

About my class
