These items will provide sensory stimulation for my students with autism. They often need things to help them focus, calm down when upset, and get out energy. My students have extreme emotional, sensory, and educational needs that I work with them on. The sensory tunnel will provide movement as well as items to touch, see, and a calming place for them to go. I will use these items to teach about colors, textures, and as calming tools. I will use the sand letter box to help them learn numbers and their alphabet as well as improve their writing skills.
