This tabletop convection oven will give my culinary students experience with semi-professional equipment. For now, my culinary students are learning in residential style kitchens. Our goal is to integrate commercial kitchen equipment to gain professional cooking skills. With these professional cooking skills, my culinary students will be prepared for life, and a career in the Hospitality and Tourism industry. In addition, the culinary skills learned in class allow them to participate in professional culinary competitions through ProStart. Not only do they gain skills and experiences, but ProStart contests provide ample scholarship opportunities. In short, my students will benefit in many ways from one simple convection oven!
