Because we have switched to distance learning, the class novel we usually read to help engage the students and reinforce reading skills is going to be too long to get through in our 9 week session. I have found an equally engaging book that, I believe, my students will enjoy. Students will need a copy of House Arrest at home so they can follow along and reread if necessary. As we read the book, we will practice reading comprehension skills and support the standards being taught in their regular English class. Having a copy of the book at home is essential.

About my class
