ESGI is an assessment tool that I use with my students to make assessments fun! ESGI stands for Educational Software Guiding Instruction. My students get to spend one-on-one time with me as I determine the skills they know and the skills they need to learn by the end of kindergarten. ESGI gives immediate feedback, provides printable flashcards, and creates an informational report for parents. I use the reports generated from this program to guide my instruction and plan for small group instruction. Watching the growth of each child during their first year of school is priceless!
