The document camera that I have requested will help students see step by step directions on curriculum concepts. Using a document camera will help me show students how to complete various assignments, especially for my visual learners! The added benefit to using a document camera is that my back will not be to the students as I explain and it will make it easier for me to check for student understanding and interaction with the materials. This technology will engage students to be more active participants. A document camera replaces what used to be the overhead projector without all the mess, but it can be used for so much more than just showing a document.
