Our school is a Title I school and a lot of my students do not have access to nice quality books. My personal classroom book collection lacks books that focus on animals in winter. I would like these engaging texts on winter animals so I can fulfill our science standard. With these high-quality texts, I will be able to engage my students in learning about winter animals. From these books, students will learn how animals adapt, migrate, and hibernate. Students will be creating dioramas to show how the animal of their choosing survives in winter.
