My students come from numerous types of backgrounds. Some come from upper class homes, while majority of them come from a household where they would be considered at the poverty level. Roughly 68% of my schools students are on Free or Reduced lunch, which means that their families are considered at or below the poverty level. Many of my students(goal to have all) have discovered a passion for reading, but do not have access to books to enhance that passion. My goal is to expose them to a wide variety of books to further their love of reading.
