With these requested Soprano ukuleles my students will have an opportunity to work both alone and collaboratively in small groups to learn to play a musical instrument that has the potential to expand beyond the classroom. The ukuleles will help my students to foster a love of making music that will last them for a lifetime. After learning just three chords, students will be able to learn and sing hundreds of songs, even including popular songs that they hear in their everyday lives. Students will have a time in the classroom to practice what they have been taught in class, create and improvise different variations of chords and strumming techniques that they learn in class, and compose their own songs using the ukuleles. Having enough ukuleles for each student to use one without sharing will allow students more time to practice and master the skills being taught.
