I would like to have plexi glass on every students desk to assist in promoting safe social distancing protocols within my classroom. Students are engaged in conversations and group work throughout the entire day and I would like to keep the momentum going with having similar activities and interactions they are familiar with. The plexi glass will provide additional security for myself and the students when engaging in activities and discussions throughout the day. Additionally, students will be given the opportunity to have multiple, brief mask breaks throughout the day. This will assist in having an easier transition for the children who now have to wear masks the entire day in school; something they aren't quite used to. I'm striving to provide the students with an environment that will be safe and conducive to learning. My students and I would like to thank you in advance for your thoughts and contributions.
