The Storyworks 3 Magazine offers a collection of various types of literature for my students to discover. Whether it’s an opinion piece to facilitate debate, a play to encourage collaboration, poetry to hone writing skills, or paired fiction and nonfiction works, this magazine exposes students to a wealth of engaging genres! Creating readers is a daunting task, but one with the richest of rewards. By utilizing the Storyworks Magazine, my students will have access to and own their own collected set of works throughout the year. Experiences with these genres will help create a lifelong love of reading.
