Whiteboards are used daily in my classroom to practice many important kindergarten skills. They are used during whole class lessons and also small group instruction. Students will use the double sided whiteboards to practice penmanship, math skills, phonics and phonemics awareness skills. Students will benefit from using the lines on the whiteboard to correctly form letters, and beginning to write words and sentences. Whiteboards are also easy to use for kindergarten students because they erase easily, which allows us to spend more time practicing those important skills and not on erasing pencil marks. Donating the double sided whiteboard to my class will benefit my students in so many ways.
