Besides the math anxiety my students face regularly, the anxiety this year will be like never before. My students will be coming back to school after half a year of not being in a school building. Students have already expressed their fear of being in person while COVID is still a major problem in our community. The flexibility of fun seating options has been proven to increase students' achievement in math class (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4842756/).
