Through the use of literature and art supplies that have been requested, our students will be able to enhance their learning and growth in a more meaningful way. Our school is a STEM focused school, but what is STEM without the ARTs? The art supplies will be used to recreate some of the famous artists that the students will be learning about through the use of the requested literature and other media. Help our students put the ART into our STEM-focused school! Students will recreate works of Van Gogh, Monet, Matisse, and many more artists, including their own original creations. Many of my students are low income and come from an ESL background. The art supplies will also be used to help students enhance their vocabulary development and reading deficit. The art supplies will be integrated into all areas of the classroom, from science to reading to mathematics.
