I am planning on reading "Woods Runner", by Gary Paulsen, as a cross curriculum unit about the Revolutionary War. We will compare the historical fiction novel with primary and secondary sources dealing with the American Revolution. I have over a one hundred students this year and with the restrictions of no sharing books this year, this is the only way I will be able to read classroom novels. With some students full remote and others on an A/B schedule, having enough copies so that each student has their own, is the only way I can accomplish this task. I hope I am able to reach my goal!
