Most students learn best when they are doing hands on activities. Our school has always been this way. With distance learning, math has become increasingly more difficult to students. Students are more focused and engaged when they are working with their hands. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. We would love to give each third grader a set of at home math tools to give them the same learning experience they would have been given at school! Students will keep kits at home and they can use them for learning up until 5th grade. we have seen how math manipulatives can positively affect students' work and demeanor and hope that the at home options will help us grow even more!
