I will use these materials to make decodable reading books for my students. My classroom is filled with avid learners at all different reading levels. These decodable readers will align with the phonics instruction that we implement in our classroom. They can be used for all different reading groups in a different way. I will be able to better target struggling readers as I provide them with books that align with what they are learning. Most of the students in my classroom have never had a normal school year due to COVID-19. As a result, many are struggling with reading. These materials will help me to target these students and help them to progress.
