Middle schoolers are full of energy and my hope is with standing desks they will have the option to continue using their devices while getting out of their seats. Movement is key to successful learning. My students are in my class for 90 minutes every day. That is a lot of time to ask students to sit and focus. With the standing desks students will have the option to stand and continue working while also being able to use a sitting desk if necessary. I would love to give my students options with the ability to choose how they will best learn each day.
