Our school will begin a blended learning platform and many of our kids do not have access to technology at home. They will not be able to log in to live lessons and learn about the world around them. The Chromebooks will allow our students to work on STEM activities, virtual libraries, go on virtual trips and participate in learning they deserve. Having access to Chromebooks will also allow them to work independently and at their own pace. Having access to Chromebooks at home can also foster children's learning styles in learning at their own pace. Technology is the way of the world and my kids would appreciate the gesture.
