Demonstrating patience, compassion, and encouragement instead of bias or prejudice is vital to creating a safe space and learning environment for all students. I want to be able to provide an equal opportunity for my students to create a holiday decoration from home. Equal treatment, regardless of gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation, is paramount for the students to feel confident and motivated to learn and create a bright future. I want my students to explore their creative side and learn from diverse backgrounds. Many of my students come from different backgrounds, and by creating this holiday decoration, they will get the opportunity to learn how others celebrate the holidays. In order to do this, I want to provide the supplies they need to create something special and educational.
