I have 6 cooking stations in my classroom and all of the cooking/baking materials will be used on a daily basis during our cooking units. We have cooked a variety of food in the past such as soups, breakfasts, pastas, casseroles, breads, and desserts. The kids learn a lot and really enjoy the hands-on learning. So far the kids have only been able to cook and sew by hand; I would love to start to give them the opportunity to learn by using a sewing machine. Eventually, I would like to get enough sewing machines to have a class set.
