My project is meant to help not only my current class but my future classes as well. With our new COVID rules students are not allowed to share supplies like they were able to in the past. Unfortunately, many of my current students don’t have the ability to buy their own supplies. I am looking for help in getting supplies such as headphones and scissors. Pencil pals are another supply that will help keep our class clean and supplies safe. My current clipboards that I have inherited are so worn they are splintering, and my current whiteboards are extremely stained. The blended clipboard/whiteboards would benefit our learning style immensely. Our school is doing a blended model which means I have half my student Monday and Tuesday and the other half on Thursday and Friday. I am also responsible for teaching students online and in-person on the same days, at the same time. This has created some hiccups, as I am not very tech-savvy and struggle with digital lessons. I have been so thankful for the resources on Teachers Pay Teachers. I have already spent over $200 of my own money gathering tools and resources. I would be so thankful to receive a gift card to help obtain other future resources. Finally, creating a lifelong love for reading in my students is a true passion of mine! I love to have my classroom library filled with a variety of books. Books are such a wonderful tool that I use daily. They help us learn, talk about difficult topics, and explore with no limits. I thank you with all of my heart for any donations that our classroom receives. My class would be overjoyed with any of these items for our classroom! Thank you, Miss C.
