Creating a library featuring diversity can mean the world to students who don't usually see themselves featured in books. It will also create empathy and inclusion within our classroom, school, and community. We will be using these books to enhance our curriculum by featuring students of all backgrounds. As Maya Angelou said, "It is time for parents to teach young people early on that in diversity there is beauty and there is strength." By donating to this project, you will help create discussions that will lead a deeper appreciation and understanding of different cultures within our communities.
