Many of our students are expected to bring some sort of technology to school, whether it is a tablet, a phone, a laptop, or a Chromebook. Since we have returned to school (partially) face to face, a couple of my students have been without technology. For those who are able to bring technology to school, some problems usually occur (i.e., they can not get logged on or their battery dies.) With iPads in the classroom, I will be able to provide a backup device or an extra device for my students to use when they are without one. Many students are already familiar with iPads, so they will be able to join right in with our digital learners. Moreover, iPads are an excellent source for accessing educational materials, learning games, and parent/teacher communication apps. I know that my students will benefit greatly from having these amazing devices in our classroom!
