With the high energy levels of young children, there's a need for movement opportunities to work on their gross motor skills during recess time. Items like the hop-along balls, easy-grip balls, and a beginner basketball hoop allow for students to work on not only their gross motor skills but also their social skills as they take turns with items and learn new skills in cooperative play games like basketball. Building bricks and trucks allow for additional social interactions and opportunities to wait a turn for a toy and have opportunities for peer engagement.
