The Kodak NUSCAN Q800 8MP Document Camera Visual will benefit my scholars. The document camera will allow me to display my work in an easier way for my virtual scholars. They need the visual! It is a more effective way to teach and to allow them to see exactly how they are supposed to do a specific skill I am teaching. My virtual scholars don't get the same advantage as my in-person scholars. Technology is a vital part of the classroom. Especially with today's "new normal." In my classroom, I have a Smartboard. The scholars at home can not see me mark up the worksheet on the smartboard. Even when I share my screen it is still a challenge for them. However, I don't want them to forget how to mark up and annotate their work. Many times I use worksheets, pages from their packet or interactive notebook. They need to see it on actual paper and not on the screen. The document camera will help achieve this.
