As a school counselor, I see daily dealing with emotional issues that they are not mature enough to handle, and to make matters worse, bullying and suicide threats are so common in schools today. I have chosen items that will be used to help students cope with social-emotional issues and practice self-control so that there will be less distraction in the learning environment. I think COVID-19 has contributed to the lack of empathy and student apathy because they have become so technology-driven and have less human contact. Our school is also in need of a safety vest because we have just started again.

About my class
