As a school counselor with over 500 students on my caseload, my efficiency and effective means of communicating with my students and families, especially since the onset of the COVID pandemic, has become an increasingly challenging task. With the need to develop a better means of making sure all students and families are aware of graduation requirements and other documentation, I find that being able to scan information directly to students and families on an email, eliminates the information gap. Our school currently does not have the means to provide school counselors with scanners for our office, which could save so much time in our daily communications. Many of us have resorted to scanning from personal devices to help provide information, however this is not the best means for communication. Thank you for considering to support this project as it will make a significant impact on many, many students and families at our school.
