Our class uses the Unique Learning System as part of our core curriculum to learn ELA and math. Currently, we use old laptop computers that have to stay plugged in to stay on, leaving us with cords running through our workstations. This can be unsafe and inconvenient! The students are excelling through using this program, but the laptops are making it harder to learn! Having new iPads to learn from would help my students tremendously as they would no longer have to worry about a slow computer response time, and having to navigate a power cord. Students can work independently on the Unique online curriculum while an adult works one-to-one with another student, allowing opportunities for the students to learn how to work independently and also get the direct support they need! The Unique Learning System supports a variety of math and ELA content standards, as there is a wide variety of lessons that change daily for students to learn from!
