My project is to purchase digital guided readers to help me teach students from their homes. These readers will be at their instructional reading levels, so that they may be exposed to more difficult sentence structure and vocabulary than they can read on their own. With the guidance and support for this program, students will move forward as readers. There is a direct connection between a reader's fluency and comprehension. The books will have a focus on fluency and comprehension, and recording themselves reading is a component of the program.
