Over the past six years, I've had a classroom desktop computer located at the back of my classroom. Many students use my class at lunch and after school to work on assignments. They have used the computer for homework, projects, and general research. However, the computer is quite outdated and runs sluggishly. Last year, one of the cords was stolen as well. I figured that it was probably time to get it replaced. This computer was chosen because it seems fairly affordable while still being powerful enough for students to accomplish what they need to. The goal is for students to be able to conduct research and work on projects in my classroom during lunch and afterschool. This includes assignments such as Physics learning modules that students have asked me about in the past, as well as any assignment that requires online access.
