One common thing that I continue to note during distance learning is the amount of noise coming from a student's environment. Many times, my student will say, "What did you say?" or "I can't hear you!" with background noise blaring into the speaker. My students do not have headphones to use at home to support them with becoming more focused. Headphones with microphones will help reduced learning barriers. They will help reduce distractions and increase their focus. It will be another tool to become more engaged with their learning during lessons, IEP goal supports, peer discussions and social emotional connections.
