These projects are designed and centered around S.T.E.M and the Engineering Process. This fun and unique opportunity will give students a chance experience what it feels like to be in the shoes of an engineer. Our students are going to build and design a a Hot Wheels track where a single car must continue to travel the entire length of a gym without stopping. Why is this important? It relates to students how men and women design highways, bridges, or underpasses for people across the world to travel. This program is designed to encourage girls to participate and enjoy the many benefits that are involved within S.T.E.M. and Engineering. This is one but many ideas planned for our students. My classes are predominately girls which is even more important that I provide them with these experiences. In the future we hope to work with robotics, designing wind power cars using Lego's, and even building rockets.
