Pre-school age students learn language through play! I will use the books requested to teach pre-reading skills and to model correct language structure. I will teach and show them how to comprehend important information from the story like "Who, What, Where" details. Using the Three Little Pigs puppets will bring the story to life and give them opportunities to engage. Dramatic play with the ice cream, pizza, and vegetable sets will facilitate communication between peers in a group. Role playing and pretending are important developmental language milestones. These play sets will provide a fun and realistic context for functional language. During distance learning, pre-school children are a challenge to engage through a screen. There are many resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers for online learning. Help me keep my therapy fun and diverse with new digital activities.
