Using the wisdom of other special education teachers, I would like to create a sensory obstacle course that students may use to expel excess energy and return to their classroom with a calm body and mind. The double sided trampoline with the safety handrail, will be the perfect START/FINISH for our sensory activities. Students will follow the arrows to jump, crawl, balance, and move like animals through the sensory obstacle course. Many of our small figits are not able to be used, due to sanitation restrictions. The individual bins will allow students to have their own tools, limiting the spread of germs. These bins can also be used around the school, and then safely returned to the sensory room. Ready to be used another day!
