Modeling in mathematics is an effective strategy to benefit students' learning. I can connect with students working from home by teaching live in real time rather than pre-recorded lessons. I can address questions in the moment and better support my students. Supporting this project means giving my students additional opportunities to stretch their thinking, ask for help, and engage in discourse while away from the classroom. It gives me as their instructor the ability to respond to their needs in the moment. Allowing learning through visual representation will no doubt be a game changer.
