Our stuffed animals can be reading partners, math-mates, and overall self-esteem builders and savers. Everyone needs a hug, and due to COVID, touching is severely limited this year. Help my students have a hugging mate. A happy child is a happy learner, and when they have a partner for the day it encourages them to stay on task and teach their "stuffed animal" as if it were a partner in learning. It also allows the student to have a feeling of being in control of their animal and learning. Success is our number one goal and having a healthy self-esteem is a large part of what makes us great learners.

About my class
