Technology is a vital part of student learning to help them for their future. My special needs students are learning how to use technology in our classroom. Due to limited fine motor skills, accessing computers with a mouse is difficult for them to do independently. I need tablet devices for my students, so that they can access digital learning experiences with independence. I know that with the use of tablets devices, I can teach my students important skills of navigating digital learning. My students will be able to use the tablets to be active participants in their own learning experiences.
