My students are funny, dedicated, brilliant, kind, inquiring minds who rise to any academic challenge presented to them. They are students who need stimulating and enthralling academic exposures in order to help solidify the content they are learning. An important part of teaching Kindergarten is the use of small groups. My students' favorite small group is the technology center. They are accustomed to using tablets at home but have trouble using a traditional laptop and mouse. Providing iPads for this center will enhance their learning. My students will be able to access apps that reinforce skills and enable higher learning. An iPad helps students who are kinesthetic and visual learn academic challenges presented to them. An iPad will become an experience in the classrooms as well as build twenty-first-century skills that our students need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world. My students will be able to work in centers with the iPad in writing, reading, learning phonemic awareness skills, working wit
