These materials will teach my students about other people and how some people are similar and different to us. We will compare and contrast characters from these books and come up with ways we are similar and different to everyone. We will think about character feelings and how we would feel if we were in that situation. These materials will be used in social groups to teach social skills and why kids are the way they are. These books will help my students read and be introduced to new ideas and places. These books will enrich the classroom library with new and engaging books for my students to learn and read from.
