PreK is a time for hands-on activities and play-based learning. Active learning and play promote important skills including age-appropriate social and emotional skills, fine motor skills, and early academic skills. This is especially important now that students are learning from home. My classroom is full of exciting materials designed to provide students with rich early learning experiences, but many students may not have access to these types of learning materials at home. Help me provide MagnaTiles for my students to build with while we play together, but separately. With enough MagnaTiles for every student in my class, I can facilitate virtual playdates and encourage students to build, create, and share ideas. These materials will help my students practice important skills while we build a community of virtual learners.
