As a new school counselor just hired, i have very limited resources to share with my students. Our children are facing so many challenges during this COVID-19 pandemic and these books will allow me to address their social and emotional needs in a way that makes sense for their age group. I work with K-6 students on topics such as divorce, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and anger management. Being at home, many of these struggles have been exasperated. Mental health is so critical in a time like this and I could use these tools to help them cope in situation they may be in.
