I will use the materials given to me to distribute to my students so they can use at home during virtual learning. Virtual learning is already hard and it is even more challenging for those in certain socioeconomic demographics, such as my students. Since the majority of the students stopped going to school in person last March, it is important to them to have the tools needed to work hard to help bridge the gap. Some students learn best through manipulating different items. These active learners could benefit from these materials when learning place value, learning how to write properly, and learning the new math content. Learning should be interactive and these items will allow learning to become more interactive.

About my class
