As I start the adventure of remote learning, I am trying to replicate my school classroom at home. The iPad will allow me the opportunity to have a second screen to view students as I share my screen to engage students in learning activities. The iPad will also be used as a document camera, my most prized possession in my classroom at school. The Apple Pencil will help me write clearly so students can read what I write on the screen as I share it with them. Without a document camera and a second screen to use, allowing me to see all of my students while my school-issued computer is being used for screen sharing, I feel that I cannot be the teacher my students deserve. In the classroom I can look around the room and immediately notice who needs extra help just by the look on their faces. Without the second screen to see everyone, this is impossible to do remotely. Once we return to school, hopefully this year, the iPad and Pencil would be used as a resource in small learning groups.
